“Darling, I request your honest opinion on something, what do you think of my new attire?” Sebastian emerged from their room dressed in something a little more humble than his prior work outfit. He had on a chocolate colored shirt with black gloves and pants with a light brown vest. A white and yellow striped tie and belt accented his outfit. “ I might need to lose a few more pounds prior to opening our bakery but do you like it?” The fat demon inquired resting his hand delicately on a layer of flab draped over his belt.
“Though it might be quite a challenge to lose weight considering that I can’t deny my stomach the nourishment it desires. After all I am a hell of a glutton” He teased licking his lips and retreating a silver tray from atop the dresser. “ Aside my appearance, I require you to taste something.” He presented a plate with three large pancakes smothered in maple syrup, strawberries on top and a dash of whip cream. Alongside of the pancakes was a chocolate parfait with a cookie on top.
“ I haven’t baked in awhile as you know, but the children simply devoured this treat as I myself did earlier. It may not be good for you per-say but it is delicious.”
Megan was surprised as she saw Sebastian dressed so nicely. She guessed he was attempting to prepare for his dream. To start a family-run bakery. She smiled softly at him, pleasantly surprised. “I love it, honey. You look wonderful.” She said, and was about to get up and hug him, when he moved once more.
She giggled slightly, nodding in understanding. When she saw what was on the silver tray, her mouth dropped. The pancakes and parfait looked divine. She wanted to eagerly devour the desserts as well, but she paused, hesitating as she looked at Sebastian with worry in her eyes. She looked down at her stomach, placing a hand on it. Of course she was getting heavier from her pregnancy and special meals Sebastian needed to feed her, but she knew she gained weight as well. From the sweet tooth she had. She wasn’t worried for the baby. She was getting all the necessary nutrition. But she hadn’t weighed herself since before becoming pregnant.
She looked at Sebastian again and nodded, taking the pancakes and parfait and gently taking one bite of each. They were extraordinary. Before she knew it, every last bit of the pancakes and parfait were gone. She looked at the empty plate and glass and her lip wobbled as she started to cry, pregnancy hormones making her self-conscious again.

{ ♞ } His tiresome gaze locked onto her worried hues, despite various assumptions that demons were cold hearted creatures with not the least bit of compassion and an inability to care, Sebastian truly did care at that particular moment. He reached his hand out to hers, lacing their fingers together tenderly. With an unfamiliar hesitation the raven confessed his hopes and dreams to his wife. “First off I want all my agonizing pain to simply vanish….” He bit his lip without warning, obviously in an attempt to conceal the amount of pain he was in from Megan. His whole body winced and shuttered, his stomach not being too fond of Sebastian’s new diet of the sorts.
“Aside that…I simply want…” He trailed off having difficulty carrying on, the sides of his lips dripping with saliva. “I want to…” Sebastian gulped wiping the sides of his lips with a napkin. “ I wish to open a family run baker, though it is but a silly idea, am I right? .”
Megan gave a small smile as Sebastian tenderly interlaced their fingers together She nodded simply at his first wish. She hoped that one would come with time. Seeing the pain he was in, she used her other hand to rub his tummy gently.
And then, his next desire surprised her. ”A family-run bakery?” She repeated in confirmation. She smiled gently. “I think that is a great idea, sweetheart. We can teach the children how to bake.” She leaned over and kissed his lips gently, their tummies touching
In Austria, we call kittens at that age “Autodromkatzerl”, which translates to “bumper car kittens”, because of the way their tail sticks up. It’s not a really common word, but a very cute one, I think

New faces: Yume (ゆめちゃん) ・ Mariel (マリエル) ‘s younger sister. A goddess in training that grows and learns by consuming Love and Happiness. Will take over for Mariel as Goddess later. Super Ninja Aoba (忍者アオバくん)・Appears several times in other Bokujou Monogatari comics. He is a ninja from Hidamari Village (ひだまり村) that ends up in the middle of everyone’s problems.
